System requirements

Requirements Details
Operating system: macOS Monterey, macOS Ventura, macOS Sonoma, macOS Sequoia.
Hardware requirements: Apple silicon or Intel-based Mac.
Remote desktop clients: FreeRDP, Amazon WorkSpaces client, Amazon AppStream 2.0, Citrix Workspace app, Omnissa Horizon Client, Teradici PCoIP Client
Known Limitations:
  • The latest versions of HP Anyware PCoIP clients are not compatible with Folders for Remote Desktop (macOS version) due to new limitations of PCoIP. Please use Teradici PCoIP Client v3.8.2 until we resolve this issue together with our partners.
  • The latest versions of Amazon WorkSpaces Client have limitations of PCoIP protocol. Please use DCV protocol with Folders for Remote Desktop (macOS version).

Installation

To install Folders for Remote Desktop (macOS version), do the following:

1. Download program installation package. The latest program version is available at www.folders-for-remote-desktop.com.

2. Run the folders-for-remote-desktop-*.pkg file and follow the installation wizard.
